Crunchies, Nuts and Seeds

I have this most mornings in addition to a fruit smoothies.

Ingredients:

     ½ cup Fiber One (Original)

     1 tablespoon sunflower seeds, roasted and unsalted

     1 tablespoon roasted golden flax seeds

     4 Brookside Dark Chocolates Pomegranate Flavor (used to be 3, trying to keep it there)

Directions:

Roast the flax by spreading the seeds on a half size rimmed baking sheet and placing it in a 350 degree oven.  I usually don’t preheat but set the timer for 10 minutes and check the doneness at that time. I will stir them and put them back in the oven.  They usually take 20 to 30 minutes.  You know that are done when they smell wonderful and are a brown toasty color.

I buy the other ingredients ready to go.  Place them in a cup and start chewing.  Yes, I eat them dry.  They kept me awake on my morning drive to work many times.
